Medical Assistant - Surgical Specialists

Responsibilities: * Perform office procedures including; billing, bookkeeping and typing/correspondence * Ability to take vital signs, ECG and perform other clinical assistance tasks * Interacts with patients and families in a professional manner * Maintains professionalism while interacting with payors, vendors, insurance, etc. Qualifications: * Requires completion of a Medical Assistant training program or a certification in Medical Assisting * One year related experience preferred * Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients and families and collaborate with health team members * CPR certification *The above statements are intended to describe the functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job.
