RE/Biogas Project Manager

**Job Title:** Biogas / Renewable Energy (RE) Project Manager **Location:** Travel Required (Multi-Site) **Industry:** Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) / Biogas **Experience Level:** 8–12+ Years Preferred **Reporting Structure:** Reports to Director of Corporate Safety, RE/Biogas and Rescue Teams **Salary Range:** Based on Experience and Qualifications **The Opportunity** We are looking for a high-level field professional who understands digesters/ AST’s from the ground up. This role blends mechanical expertise, field execution, and a commissioning mindset. If you’ve built it, cleaned it, fixed it, and started it up — we want to talk. **Core Responsibilities** - Lead and support digester / AST installation - Execute bolt-up installs, roof systems, and mechanical tie-ins - Ability to read and interpret construction/engineering blueprints and technical drawings - Perform digester cleanouts, inspections, and maintenance - Read and execute blueprints, P&IDs, and OEM specifications - Install and trouble shoot mixers, pumps, gas systems, and mechanical equipment - Trouble shoot any digester issue and provide solutions in real time - Coordinate with General Contractors, Site Managers, Engineers, and OEMs - Operate across multiple active job sites - Risk management awareness, protecting our employees and clients - Be able to identify critical task situations and fill out proper paperwork to go with it - Training and developing our crews - Client service and team focused **What We're Looking For** - 8–12+ years in biogas / anaerobic digesters and/or construction experience - Certified Project manager is a plus but not required - Strong mechanical, process and facilities operating background - Experience with multiple digester types - Experience with mixers, cables, and drive systems - Roof installations (membrane / gas-tight) - Ability to build and follow specifications - Field experience in cleanouts, repairs, and new construction - Ultimate team player **Safety & Field Awareness** - Confined Space Certified - Fit Tested / Respiratory - Understanding of H2S and biogas hazards - Awareness of weather limitations and jobsite conditions - Safety-first mindset **Leadership & Communication** - Strong communicator with field presence - Be able to Translate Spanish is a plus but not necessary - Ability to report clearly to leadership - Coordinate with on-site teams and drive progress/ results - Self-sufficient and solutions-oriented **What Sets You Apart** - Commissioning experience (start-up to operations) - RNG upgrading system exposure - Ability to lead and develop crews and take ownership of projects - Willingness to travel and take on challenges - Risk management awareness — protecting our employees and clients - Training and developing our crew - Client service and team focused - Team player **Compensation** Competitive pay based on experience and capability.
