Medical Assistant/Receptionist

**About Us** Prosper Urgent Care is a modern, patient\-focused urgent care clinic located in downtown Jacksonville. We are seeking motivated, compassionate, and dependable Medical Assistants who enjoy both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast\-paced healthcare environment. This role combines traditional medical assistant duties with front desk responsibilities. Ideal candidates are team players who are comfortable working directly with patients, performing clinical procedures, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and supporting providers throughout the patient visit. **Responsibilities** *Clinical Duties* * Obtain and document vital signs * Prepare patients for examinations and procedures * Administer injections and immunizations as directed * Perform EKG/ECG testing * Perform venipuncture and specimen collection * Conduct point\-of\-care testing * Assist providers with procedures and patient flow * Clean and stock exam rooms * Maintain accurate medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) *Front Desk Duties* * Greet and check in patients * Answer incoming phone calls * Schedule appointments * Verify demographic and insurance information * Collect copays and process payments * Scan and upload documents into the EHR * Assist with patient communication and follow\-up *QualificationsRequired* * High school diploma or GED * Medical Assistant experience * Comfortable with blood draws/venipuncture * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Ability to multitask in a fast\-paced clinical environment * Reliable transportation * Basic computer proficiency *Preferred* * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification * Urgent care, primary care, emergency medicine, or occupational medicine experience * Experience performing EKGs * Experience with insurance verification and medical scheduling * Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus **What We're Looking For** *The ideal candidate is:* * Friendly and professional * Dependable and punctual * Team\-oriented * Comfortable working both front desk and clinical responsibilities * Flexible and willing to help wherever needed * Passionate about providing excellent patient care *Benefits (Full\-Time Employees)* * Top\-of\-Market Compensation * Performance Bonuses *Schedule* * 8\-10 hour day shifts * Weekdays * Weekends * PRN opportunities available Apply Today!
