Adult ESL Teacher - Mornings

CAMPUS Education - Midtown is seeking an ESL teacher for our adult student population. **The Role:** *English Teacher* Salary: (This is the set, non-negotiable payscale) * $25/hr -> Bachelor's * $27/hr -> Master's * $29/hr -> PhD Schedule: * Friday-Saturday 9:00AM-6:00PM * Both Days * 18 hours/week **Instructional:** * Deliver interactive curriculum. * Adhere to policies set forth in the Faculty Handbook and School Directors, including professional development requirements. * Promoter, encourage and be an example of communicative teaching methods in ESL instruction. * Ensure accurate class start and end time. * Prepare Lesson Plans. * Grade Tests. * Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner, * Ensure effective application of curricula, syllabi and materials. * Check daily rosters and keep student attendance. * Organize relevant field trips. * 100% In-Person **Curriculum** * Participate in curriculum development activities, as needed, including: accreditation and certification submissions, annual review, academic planning and review, needs analysis, surveys, etc. * Participate in meetings and/or review relevant materials . **Administrative** * Perform administrative tasks to ensure program functionality and success. * Maintain accurate and timely records of student grades, attendance and class promotion.. * Keep organized records and maintain an orderly and secure filing system. * Participate in conducting student surveys. * Follow policies and guidelines set forth by management Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Ability to commute/relocate: * New York, NY 10001: Reliably commute (Required) Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Work Status: * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Experience: * ESL, ELA, English Instructor: 1 year (Required) * Adult Education: 1 year (Preferred) Language: * English (Required) License/Certification: * Teaching Certification (Preferred) Work Location: One location Job Type: Part-time to start.
