Cloud Engineer

Join the Banking and Financial Services Cloud Technology team and be a part of a full lifecycle team building and maintaining automation tooling and creating industry leading distributed Kubernetes based platforms. We use innovative approaches to automation including extensive use of Hashicorp Vault, Kubernetes Operators, ArgoCD, in-house written Go Operators and GCP & AWS Cloud Platforms. You will be responsible for influencing and mentoring other engineers in engineering best practices. **What You Offer** * Experience with hyperscale cloud providers (preferably GCP) in enterprise environments, with a strong understanding of cloud-native platforms and services. * Strong experience in platform engineering, enabling and supporting cloud services for consumption by application teams. * Proven expertise administering Kubernetes at scale, including cluster lifecycle management, networking, troubleshooting, and production support. * Real-world experience supporting and operating production applications and platforms in complex environments. * Experience with GitOps practices (ArgoCD) and declarative Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Kustomize. * Familiarity with secrets management solutions, such as HashiCorp Vault or similar technologies. * Experience with the Go programming language is beneficial * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into effective platform solutions.
