Medical Assistant

Duties: \- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and insurance information. \- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments. \- Take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and update patient information in electronic health records. \- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments. \- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. \- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting and preparing specimens for testing. \- Provide patient education and instructions for at\-home care. \- Assist with minor surgical procedures, including wound care and suture removal. Qualifications: **Must speak Spanish.** \- High school diploma or equivalent. \- Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience. \- Certification as a medical assistant preferred. \- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of medical office procedures. \- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner. \- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast\-paced healthcare environment. \- Knowledge of X\-Ray procedures and equipment is required.
