Control Systems Engineer

The role involves a variety of projects and services\-based work, focused on automation, control systems and solutions, primarily across the **Rail, Road Tunnel and Transport Infrastructure industries.** We are looking for someone with passion and drive who will be responsible for: 1\. Design, development, commissioning, testing and support of electrical and automation systems 2\. Learning from more experienced engineers whilst executing on project tasks 3\. Consistently meeting predefined project and engineering targets 4\. Contributing to the development of best practice methodologies, software, systems, procedures and uptake of the latest technologies. **The successful applicant will have:** 1. Degree qualified preferable 2. 10\+ years of relevant industry experience 3. Strong technical aptitude, including computer and programming/coding skills 4. Proven experience working with Siemens systems 5. Strong documentation and technical writing skills 6. Demonstrated strong work ethic and a proactive willingness to learn · 7. **Experience in PLC programming.** 8. **Experience in SCADA design and development .** 9. Strong process improvement capability. 10. Proven track record of successful project delivery within the automation industry 11. Demonstrated experience in delivering and executing automation projects · 12.
