**Job Summary** We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an enriching experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing support, and fostering positive relationships with campers while ensuring their well\-being and personal growth. **Responsibilities** * Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. * Plan, organize, and implement age\-appropriate activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development. * Provide guidance and support to campers in various settings, including outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, sports, and educational programs. * Foster a positive camp culture by encouraging inclusivity, respect, and cooperation among campers. * Communicate effectively with campers' parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. * Assist in managing behavior through effective behavior management strategies to ensure a positive environment for all participants. * Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a cohesive team atmosphere that enhances the overall camp experience. **Qualifications** * Experience working with students or children in a camp setting is highly desirable. * Strong classroom management skills to maintain order and facilitate learning in group settings. * Previous childcare or tutoring experience is beneficial for supporting camper needs effectively. * Familiarity with behavior management techniques to address various camper behaviors positively. * Experience in daycare can enhance the creative aspects of camp programming. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children of diverse backgrounds.
