Assistant Director, Facilities Management

A leading education institution is seeking an experienced Assistant Director, Facilities Management to support the operations of a large, modern campus environment in Singapore. **Responsibilities** Reporting into the Head of Department, you will oversee day\-to\-day facilities and building operations, ensuring operational readiness, safety and consistent service delivery across the campus. The role will manage external contractors and vendors, conduct operational and safety reviews, and provide sound technical assessment and recommendations on facilities issues. Responsibilities will also include procurement and contract management, budget forecasting, regulatory compliance, incident follow\-up and the continuous improvement of facilities policies, processes and systems. The position will work closely with internal stakeholders and the wider facilities team, requiring a hands\-on and responsive approach to operational matters. **Requirements** You possess at least 15 years of substantial client\-side facilities management or building operations experience, preferably within an education campus setting or healthcare environment of scale. Strong technical knowledge, the confidence to challenge contractors and independently recommend practical solutions are essential.
