Dermatology Clinical Assistant

We are a busy and growing dermatology practice seeking an experienced, **dedicated, compassionate, and team\-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant** to join our team. **Prior dermatology experience is required.** The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dermatology workflows and be comfortable working in a fast\-paced clinical environment while providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities * Room and work up patients for dermatology visits * Obtain and document accurate patient histories * Accurately chart and document patient information * Assist providers with dermatologic procedures and treatments * Prepare exam rooms and maintain an organized clinical environment * Assist with biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures * Provide patients with clear instructions and compassionate care * Work closely with our providers and clinical team to ensure excellent patient flow and patient experience Qualifications * **Previous dermatology experience is required** * Medical Assistant experience strongly preferred * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dermatologic terminology * Experience working up patients and assisting with procedures * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy practice * Positive attitude and willingness to be a supportive team member * **EMA experience is preferred, but not required** Job Type: Full\-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
