Job description from the source
**Barden** is delighted to be working with a fast-growing Irish software company in the Tipperary as they look to hire a Finance Business Partner. This is a broad, newly shaped role that sits right at the centre of the business, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. You will own the numbers that drive decisions, working side by side with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to show what is working, what it costs, and where to invest next. It is an excellent next step for a recently qualified accountant who wants real commercial influence, not just month-end. You will be close to every part of the business, and your analysis will shape how we plan, price, and grow. **ABOUT THE ROLE** * Own the annual budget, rolling forecast, and scenario modelling. * Partner with department leads on performance, spend, and investment cases. * Lead SaaS reporting, including ARR, churn, NRR, and CAC/LTV. * Produce the monthly management accounts with clear, practical commentary. * Own multi-entity accounts, VAT, consolidation, and the year-end audit. * Drive headcount reporting, people costs, and workforce planning. * Automate recurring reports and own KPI reporting for leadership. **ABOUT THE PERSON** * Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA), 1–3 years PQE. * Hands-on FP&A or business partnering experience. * Strong month-end, balance sheet, and VAT experience. * Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modelling skills. * Confident presenting numbers to non-finance colleagues. * SaaS, subscription, or multi-entity experience is a real plus.
