Experienced Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Paralegal

Ashley Law, P.C. is seeking an experienced Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our bankruptcy department. This position is available remotely for qualified candidates with California Chapter 13 experience. We are open to part-time or full-time employment. **A minimum of two years of hands-on Chapter 13 experience is required. This is not a training position.** The successful candidate must have experience handling both pre-petition and post-petition Chapter 13 work, including: * Preparing Chapter 13 petitions, schedules, and statements * Preparing Chapter 13 plans * Preparing and filing amendments * Reviewing proofs of claim * Working with clients to obtain necessary financial documents and information * Preparing for §341 meetings and confirmation * Responding to Trustee requirements and deficiencies * Monitoring cases and deadlines through the post-petition process * Assisting with plan modifications and other post-confirmation matters Candidates must have strong organizational and time-management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and cases without constant supervision. Required Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of California Chapter 13 bankruptcy experience * Substantial experience with both pre-petition and post-petition Chapter 13 cases * Experience preparing Chapter 13 plans is mandatory * Ability to independently prepare bankruptcy petitions, schedules, plans, and amendments * Strong organizational skills * Ability to prioritize and work effectively under strict deadlines * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently in a remote environment Please submit your resume and include a brief description of your specific Chapter 13 experience.
