Inspire. Make an Impact. We’re seeking an experienced **Director of Nursing – Emergency Room** to lead clinical and operational services within a fast\-paced, high\-acuity Emergency Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ER nursing leader who is passionate about **patient care, team development, quality improvement, and operational excellence.** What You’ll Do * Lead daily **Emergency Department clinical and operational activities** Ensure safe, high\-quality, and cost\-effective patient care * Lead and develop nursing staff and leadership teams * * Drive **quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction** initiatives * Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and **Joint Commission** standards Maintain readiness for surveys, audits, and inspections * * Lead **emergency preparedness and disaster readiness** programs Develop and implement policies, procedures, and service\-line initiatives * Support Emergency Department growth, performance, and operational improvement * Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing teams, and hospital leadership * What We’re Looking For * **BSN required** * Active **Florida RN license** * Minimum **2 years of healthcare management experience** * Minimum **2 years of Emergency Room/ED experience** Strong nursing leadership and team\-management skills * Knowledge of hospital operations, regulatory compliance, and patient\-care standards * Strong communication, decision\-making, and problem\-solving abilities * Required Certifications * **BLS/CPR – AHA** * **ACLS – AHA** * **PALS – AHA** * **CPI** – within 30 days of hire * **TNCC** – within 180 days of hire * **NIH Stroke Certification** – within 60 days of hire Preferred Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or related field * * Previous **Emergency Department leadership** experience Experience with emergency preparedness and disaster management * Why This Opportunity?
