Assistant teacher

**Introduction:** We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality care and education to toddlers in our child care center. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about their child's development and progress. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff. **Responsibilities:** * Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, including providing emotional and physical support as well as providing personal hygiene care * Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of toddlers * Communicate with parents about their child's development and progress, including providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions * Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of toddlers, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records * Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education * Other duties as assigned **Qualifications:** * Must have the ability to pass a National BCI and CANTS * Must have one: GED, High School Diploma, or College degree * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload * Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff * Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities for toddlers * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, sit on floor, run, other activities * Ability to complete 24 hours a year of training * Ability to attend staff meetings
