We’re looking to hire an **Electrical Engineer** for a **Power Systems Manufacturer who specialized in Switchgear design**. Join an innovative engineering organization focused on delivering advanced electrical power distribution solutions that support critical infrastructure and industrial applications. You’ll join the **Electrical Engineering** team to design, develop, and optimize low and medium voltage power systems while providing technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle. This is a **full-time** opportunity. **Fully remote within the USA** and will work PST hours with some flexibility. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: * Design and engineer switchgear and switchboard systems to meet customer specifications and project requirements. * Develop detailed electrical schematics, drawings, elevations, and power distribution designs. * Specify and select electrical components including circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and protection devices. * Create and validate Sequences of Operation (SOO) documentation to ensure system performance aligns with design intent. * Serve as the primary technical lead throughout manufacturing, testing, validation, and project execution. * Collaborate with field service, testing, sales, project management, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges and support customer needs. * Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and drive continuous improvement through process automation and engineering tools development. Electrical Engineer Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. * 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems, or electrical equipment design. * Experience designing low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution systems, switchgear, or switchboards. * Strong knowledge of electrical standards including UL, NEC, ANSI, IEEE, and related industry requirements. * Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN, or similar platforms. * Experience supporting manufacturing, testing, commissioning, factory witness testing, or field service operations. * Background working with automation systems, test systems, or high-reliability electrical assemblies preferred.
