Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

We have been retained by our client, an industrial manufacturer, to assist in the search for a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager in the Streetsboro, OH area. **Responsibilities** * Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain and materials organization, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and opportunities for employee growth. * Provide leadership across sourcing, procurement, materials management, inventory, warehousing, shipping, transportation, and related supply chain and logistics activities to support manufacturing and customer requirements. * Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including identifying, evaluating, qualifying, and onboarding suppliers strengthen the organization's overall supply base * Lead supplier negotiations and commercial agreements to achieve appropriate cost, quality, delivery, service, and business terms. * Drive improvements across procurement, materials, inventory, warehousing, shipping, logistics, and external processing activities using structured problem\-solving, continuous improvement, and lean methodologies. **Key Requirements** : * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university * Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams in supply chain, logistics, procurement, materials, shipping, or related fields * Strong expertise in domestic and international sourcing, supplier development, supplier management, and negotiation * Experience in chemical manufacturing processes or similar industries **Additional Information:** * All information will be kept strictly confidential * Applications will not be considered without a Resume/Curriculum Vitae which includes contact information **Who we are:** • JMI Recruiting Services is a third party search firm that strategically partners with our clients to recruit exceptional talent nationwide.
