**Medical Assistant \- Clinical \+ Front Office Rotation \| Full\-Time \| McKinney, TX** **Pay: $20–$23 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications** Luma Pediatrics is a new, tech\-forward pediatric practice in McKinney focused on exceptional care, efficient workflows, and a warm experience for children and families. We use Athena and Phreesia to reduce paperwork so our team can focus on what matters most: our patients and families. We are looking for a dependable, positive Medical Assistant who is comfortable working in both clinical and front\-office roles. **What Makes This Role Different** Our Medical Assistants rotate weekly between two roles: **Clinical Care MA** * Room patients and obtain age\-appropriate vitals * Perform rapid testing, vision/hearing screening, and specimen collection * Prepare and administer vaccines * Complete medication reconciliation, clinical intake, and discharge **Patient Experience MA** * Welcome families and manage front\-office flow * Assist with Athena and Phreesia check\-in exceptions * Answer phones and help coordinate patient needs * Verify demographics, insurance, and required authorizations * Help the clinical MA with stocking, vaccine prep, calls, and other tasks when the front desk is caught up **Schedule** * Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:15 AM–4:15 PM * Wednesday: morning only * Every other Saturday morning as part of the MA rotation * Approximately 36–40 hours per week * No routine evening hours **What We're Looking For** * 1–2\+ years of Medical Assistant experience; pediatrics strongly preferred * CMA/RMA certification preferred, or equivalent clinical experience * Comfortable with EHRs and technology; Athena and/or Phreesia experience is a plus * Organized, efficient, dependable, and able to work in a fast\-paced environment * Warm, professional, team\-oriented, and willing to help wherever needed **The Luma Way** Our team values **timeliness, integrity, innovation, excellence, and smiles.** We want people who take ownership of their work, care about the details, and bring kindness and positive energy to families and coworkers. **Compensation \& Benefits** * **$20–$23 per hour**, based on relevant experience and qualifications * **10 paid days / 80 hours of paid leave per year** * **7 paid holidays** * **Up to $300 per month in QSEHRA health benefit reimbursements** for eligible full\-time employees after 60 days, subject to plan terms * **401(k) with employer matching up to 4%** * **Up to $300 per year toward approved uniforms and eligible work attire** * **Paid BLS certification** * Predictable schedule with no routine evening hours * Supportive, collaborative team where your ideas and input are valued If you are looking for a pediatric practice where you can use both your clinical and administrative skills, work with a small collaborative team, and help build thoughtful workflows from the beginning, we would love to hear from you.
