NYC Contract Design & Project Coordinator

**Location:** New York City **Commitment:** Approximately 5–7 hours/week **Duration:** Approximately 2 months **Compensation:** $50–$55/hour, depending on experience **Type:** Independent Contractor LOCH Studios is a workplace interior design studio creating thoughtful, highly functional—and really good\-looking—offices for growing companies. We’re looking for a NYC\-based contractor to act as our boots on the ground for an active workplace project over the next two months. You’ll work closely with our California\-based design and project management team to help us execute the project locally. This is a great fit for someone who is organized, proactive, design\-minded, and comfortable independently getting things done around NYC. **What You’ll Help With** * Attend office walkthroughs and site visits on behalf of the LOCH team * Take measurements, photos, videos, and detailed site notes * Research and source local furniture, accessories, artwork, plants, materials, and vendors * Visit local showrooms, vintage stores, fabricators, or other suppliers as needed * Coordinate with local vendors and installers * Be onsite for furniture deliveries and installations * Help troubleshoot installation\-day issues and communicate updates to the LOCH team * Complete punch walks and document outstanding items * Provide clear photos, notes, and updates to our remote team **You Might Be a Great Fit If You…** * Are based in NYC and can easily travel around Manhattan * Have experience in interior design, architecture, workplace, events, production, or project coordination * Have a strong eye for design and details * Are extremely organized and responsive * Are comfortable working independently and figuring things out on the fly * Aren’t afraid to call a vendor, chase down an answer, or find an alternative when Plan A doesn’t work * Are comfortable representing LOCH professionally with clients and vendors * Have flexibility for occasional daytime walkthroughs, deliveries, and installations Interior design experience is a plus, but we’re primarily looking for someone who is **resourceful, reliable, proactive, and great at execution.** The engagement is expected to last approximately two months at an average of 5–7 hours per week, although some weeks may be lighter and installation weeks may require additional hours.
