Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design

**Job Description** Timmons Group is seeking a **Civil Project Engineer II/III** to join our **Structures and Bridge Design Group** in Raleigh, NC. This is a great opportunity to work on routine and complex structures including bridge, building, renewable energy and ancillary structure designs. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: * Perform rehabilitation designs for bridges and buildings * Conduct bridge load ratings and evaluations * Support project planning including scope, schedule, and budget development * Assist in project and task management * Contribute to marketing efforts and proposal development **Skills/Requirements** of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: * A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) * 2\+ years of experience in structural and/or bridge design * PE License is a plus * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, and NCDOT standards * Proficiency in structural design software * Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for plan development * NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus **Additional Information** The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
