Accounting Professional

Eychaner Properties, Inc. is seeking an accounting professional to join its management team. The position will be responsible for most accounting functions, as well as contributing to the company’s continued growth. Preferred qualifications include a CPA and five (5\) years of public accounting experience, the ability to work independently, and the ability to efficiently manage a wide variety of tasks. Preference will be given to candidates with experience using Yardi software and experience in the commercial real estate industry. **Initial Duties** · Assist with the transition of the accounting system from QuickBooks to Yardi Breeze Premier. · Prepare monthly financial reports for management. · Complete journal entries and reconciliations and monitor the general ledger. · Complete daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, purchase order processing, and reconciliations. · Code and process accounts payable for multiple entities. · Process accounts receivable and maintain aging reports. · Complete company payroll on a weekly and biweekly basis for approximately 25 employees. · Reconcile CAMIT expenses for properties. · Prepare work papers for executive review and for the outside CPA for tax purposes. · Identify opportunities to improve processes and internal controls.
