Join a global engineering group building out connected devices and IoT solutions for cutting edge industries today! **Location:** San Francisco, CA (Onsite) We're looking for an Android Developer who can move quickly, build polished mobile experiences, and turn ideas into working prototypes. **This role is focused on developing modern Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for next-generation connected products and devices.** **What You'll Do** * Build Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose * Rapidly develop prototypes, MVPs, and proof-of-concepts * Create intuitive user experiences for small-screen devices * Collaborate with product, design, embedded, and engineering teams * Debug, optimize, and improve application performance * Translate concepts into production-ready mobile experiences **What You Need** * 5+ years of Android development experience * Strong Kotlin expertise * Strong Jetpack Compose experience * Experience shipping Android applications * Experience building prototypes and MVPs in fast-paced environments * Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles * Experience with Git **Nice to Have** * Embedded, IoT, or connected-device experience * MVVM or Clean Architecture * REST APIs and data integration * Performance optimization and memory management * Consulting or product-development environment experience **Ideal Background** You've built Android applications from the ground up, enjoy rapid product development, and are comfortable working across evolving requirements.
