Staff Pharmacist (Part-time)

We're a sixth-generation, family-owned independent pharmacy looking for a community pharmacist to join our team part-time. Whether you're looking for a change from the corporate pharmacy environment or simply want a rewarding part-time position with a great team, we'd love to hear from you. **Responsibilities** * Accurately dispense prescriptions and verify medications for safety and accuracy. * Provide patient counseling, medication guidance, and excellent customer service. * Administer immunizations and support other clinical pharmacy services. * Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other team members to maintain an efficient workflow. * Maintain accurate prescription records and comply with applicable pharmacy laws and regulations. * Help create a welcoming, professional environment where patients feel valued and cared for. **Qualifications** * Active, unrestricted Illinois pharmacist license required. * Community or retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred, ideally 3 or more years. * Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and patient counseling. * Experience administering immunizations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Comfortable working in a busy pharmacy environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. * Friendly, dependable, patient-focused, and willing to work as part of a team. **Schedule & Compensation** Part-time position with a schedule based on pharmacy needs and candidate availability. $50.00-$62.00 per hour, depending on experience.
