Medical Assistant

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology clinic. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in medical settings, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth operations. Regular and reliable attendance is a must! Duties: - Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures - Ability to work well with others to ensure patient satisfaction - Update all patient medical, surgical, and family history, to include medications and allergies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date pathology logs - Process prescription refills and prior authorizations - Assist with a vast variety of surgical and cosmetic procedures - Prep and assist with surgical procedures along with maintaining strict sterile techniques Experience: - Previous experience as a medical assistant required; dermatology preferred - Able to multitask, stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, be detail-oriented, and maintain organization is a must - Familiarity with electronic medical records required, eClinicalWorks experience is a plus - Strong understanding of medical terminology, spelling, and grammar Join us in making a difference in the lives of patients by providing high-quality care as a Medical Assistant.
