**Senior Engineer - Residential Development** **Location:** North Dublin **Salary:** €85,000 - €90,000 + Company Car + 10% Bonus **Project:** 180-Unit Residential Development **Duration:** Approximately 30 months remaining **The Opportunity** We are currently seeking an experienced **Senior Engineer** to join a leading developer on a major **180-unit residential development in North Dublin** . This is a long-term opportunity with approximately **30 months remaining on the project** , offering the successful candidate the chance to play a key role throughout the delivery of the scheme. The project will involve a significant amount of **heavy civils and groundworks during the initial stages** , before progressing into the main residential construction and finishing phases. **The Role** As Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support across the project, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Management team, subcontractors and design teams. Your responsibilities will include: * Managing and coordinating engineering activities across the development. * Setting out and overseeing **groundworks, drainage, roads and infrastructure** during the civils phase. * Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information. * Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved designs and specifications. * Coordinating with subcontractors and specialist contractors. * Carrying out quality control and ensuring engineering standards are maintained. * Managing and resolving technical issues on site. * Working closely with the site management team to ensure programme and project milestones are achieved. * Supporting the transition from the civils/groundworks phase into the residential construction phase. * Maintaining accurate engineering records and documentation. * Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with company and project requirements. **The Ideal Candidate** The successful candidate will ideally have: * A degree/diploma in **Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline** . * Proven experience working as a **Site Engineer / Senior Engineer** within construction. * Strong experience across **groundworks, civils and residential construction** . * Excellent setting-out and technical engineering skills. * Experience working on large-scale residential developments would be highly advantageous. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * The ability to work independently while also being an effective member of the wider project team. * A strong understanding of construction processes, quality and health & safety requirements. **Package** * **€85,000 - €95,000 salary** * **Company car** * **10% annual bonus** * Long-term project with approximately **30 months remaining** * Opportunity to work on a significant **180-unit residential development** * Strong career progression with an established developer **Why Consider This Opportunity?** This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking to take on a substantial project with a well-established developer.
