### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Days, 4x10hrs * Hours: 40 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 * Length: 10 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Outpatient OBGYN Clinic position requiring NY RN license and prior travel nursing experience. ### **Details** * Outpatient clinic setting within an OBGYN practice * 10-week winter coverage assignment * Day shift schedule: 4x10 hours (7:00 AM-5:00 PM) * Uses Epic for charting ### **Requirements** * Active NY RN license required * BLS certification required * Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required * Prior travel nursing experience required * Experience preferred in office duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and telephone triage * Experience preferred with women's health procedures including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and external fetal heart monitoring (EFM) * Experience preferred with specimen collection, including UA/clean catch and vaginal specimens * Experience preferred with medication administration, including intramuscular and subcutaneous injections * Experience preferred with high-risk OB and OB/GYN patient care * 1 professional reference required ### **Additional Information** * Responsibilities include patient teaching, universal precautions, and follow-up phone calls * Supports high-risk OB and general OB/GYN patients * Free parking available in any unrestricted space * No holiday RTO permitted during this assignment * Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed * Local radius restrictions are waived for this 10-week assignment * Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
