This role will suit an experienced Accountant to oversee the day-to-day accounting function and support the business with financial and commercial insights. **Your new role** Reporting closely to the Finance Manager, you will manage the full accounting cycle while supervising a small finance team. Key Responsibilities; * Oversee AR, AP, GL and credit management * Manage month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, journals and provisions * Prepare management reports, budgets, variance analysis and cash-flow forecasts * Manage BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG and payroll tax requirements * Oversee payroll processes and staff onboarding/terminations * Monitor intercompany transactions and landed costs * Coordinate audit, insurance, workers compensation and asset management requirements * Identify and implement process and system improvements * Provide financial analysis and insights to assist the Director with key business decisions * Lead and support a small transactional finance team **Your experience** * Must possess minimum 4 years' experience as a qualified Accountant * Must be bi-lingual in Mandarin or Cantonese due to clientele * Previous experience in FMCG, hospitality, or food manufacturing, or distribution industry highly desirable * Proven experience supervising or mentoring staff members * Strong Excel skills * Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Benefits to you** * Exciting and stable permanent opportunity to join a reputable business with a diverse professional network * Genuine opportunity to be a part of the senior leadership team, and influence key decisions across the business * Salary on offer up to $90,000 + Super + Bonus * Company wide discounts on household products * Ongoing internal development and opportunities to progress your career **Apply now** via the link or send your CV to **Janelle Hwang** janelle.hwang@persolapac.com .
