Sr. Data Architect w/Secret Clearance (Contingent)

A3 Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Architect to translate approved performance measures into implementation\-ready data mappings and integration requirements. If you’d enjoy working with data owners, analysts, and implementation teams to preserve business meaning, define testable interfaces, and establish traceability from source data to reported results, this role is for you! **In this job you will:** * Analyze authorized schemas, data dictionaries, entity relationships, interface specifications, and sample extracts; reconcile differences in field meanings, keys, joins, constraints, and business rules through subject matter expert walkthroughs. * Develop version\-controlled source\-to\-measure mapping definitions that function as schema contracts, covering data types, transformations, reference data, ownership, refresh windows, security tags, quality rules, and lineage. * Specify tool\-agnostic extract\-transform\-load and API requirements: extraction and transformation logic, validation, logging, error taxonomy, retry and rollback behavior, availability, latency, and authentication and authorization controls. * Flag provisional bindings to an evolving enterprise data model so that model changes produce a bounded, documented impact list rather than a surprise. * Define validation telemetry and acceptance tests that make data and integration failures reproducible and explain their downstream effect on specific measures and dashboards. * Review implementation evidence with delivery teams, assess schema and model changes, document unresolved access and authorization dependencies, and validate corrections against approved requirements. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Data/Analytics, Public Administration, or a related field preferred. * 8\+ years of experience in data architecture, source\-to\-target mapping, integration analysis, or enterprise analytics design. * Strong command of relational schemas, SQL, transformation logic, API and data\-pipeline specifications, data quality, metadata, and lineage. * Demonstrated ability to turn business rules into unambiguous technical requirements and repeatable acceptance tests. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with separate implementation teams, document design decisions, and evaluate data\-protection and access requirements within an approved enterprise architecture. * Experience with normalized or curated data assets, evolving canonical data models, and schema contracts in controlled enterprise environments. * Experience defining requirements for government cloud environments and impact\-level\-based processing controls. * Experience with orchestration and pipeline tooling such as NiFi, Airflow, or containerized services, in a requirements and design capacity. * Experience in personnel security, industrial security, or related federal mission domain. **Clearance Level**: * Active Secret Clearance (or higher) required. **Location**: * Remote (DC Metropolitan Area) **Salary Range**: * The salary range of this position is $160,000 \- $175,000 commensurate with experience and achievement **Benefit Information:** A3 Consulting offers a robust benefits package to include but not limited to medical, dental, and vision benefits, flexible spending and health savings accounts, group life and AD\&D, short\-term and long\-term disability, paid time off, 401k match, paid parental leave, professional development. **About A3 Consulting:** A3 Consulting, LLC is a leading management and technology firm that specializes in providing innovative solutions to solve the pressing challenges of our Federal government customers.
