Relevant hands\-on construction experience will be strongly considered. Compensation \& Perks * **$40,000–$50,000 annual salary**, depending on experience * **Performance bonus based on successful project completion** * Company vehicle available for qualifying project\-related travel * Approved mileage reimbursement when a personal vehicle is used for business travel * Phone allowance * Opportunity for increased responsibility and compensation as the company grows Schedule \& Travel Typical working hours are approximately: **Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM** Construction schedules may occasionally require earlier starts, later coordination, or **Saturday work**. This is a **home\-based position**, but regular travel to active job sites, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, inspections, and project meetings throughout **Maryland and Virginia** is an important part of the job. **This is not a fully remote desk position.** Career Growth Hansy Engineering is growing, and we want this position to grow with the company. The intended career path is: **Construction Estimator / Assistant Project Manager → Project Manager → Senior Project Manager / Operations Management** The right candidate will have the opportunity to take on increasingly independent responsibility for estimating and managing projects. What Success Looks Like Over time, the successful candidate should be able to receive a new project opportunity and help independently move it through: **Site Visit → Scope Development → Takeoff → Subcontractor Pricing → Estimate → Proposal → Contract → Project Setup → Scheduling → Construction Coordination → Inspection → Closeout** The goal is to develop someone who can take ownership of projects rather than simply complete assigned administrative tasks. Indeed Screening Questions * How many years of construction estimating or project\-management experience do you have? * What types of residential and/or commercial construction projects have you worked on? * Are you comfortable reading construction drawings and performing quantity takeoffs? * Describe one construction project that you personally estimated or helped manage from beginning to completion. * What was the approximate contract value of the largest project you have estimated or managed? * Have you requested and compared subcontractor bids before? * Have you coordinated subcontractors or construction crews in the field? * Do you have experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other MEP scopes? * What estimating, takeoff, or project\-management software have you used? * Are you comfortable regularly traveling to projects throughout Maryland and Virginia? * Do you have a valid driver's license? * Are you comfortable working from home when you are not visiting project sites? * Are you available to occasionally work Saturdays when required by a project? * What is your desired annual salary? * When would you be available to start? **Hansy Engineering Inc.** **Maryland \& Virginia** **Start Date: ASAP** Pay: $40,000\.00 \- $50,000\.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Baltimore, MD 21202
