6-8th Grade Math Teacher

Part\-Time Middle School Math Teacher – Grades 6–8 Schoolhouse Academy, a small private K–8 school in Wilton, CT, is seeking an experienced and engaging **Middle School Math Teacher for Grades 6–8**. We are looking for a teacher who can challenge advanced students while making math engaging and meaningful. Our program utilizes **Dimensions Math and IXL**, with an emphasis on **mental math, critical thinking, problem\-solving, and project\-based learning**. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred * Experience teaching middle school mathematics * Experience with Dimensions Math and/or IXL preferred * Strong background in project\-based learning, mental math, and critical thinking * Ability to work with small groups and differentiate instruction **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, approximately 9:25–11:20 AM or 8:30\-12:30 Depending on agreement. **Location:** Schoolhouse Academy, Wilton, CT **Position:** Part\-time, in\-person, with potential to grow with the school.
