**Sr. Data Analyst (Remote)** **Type: Contract** **Length: 6+ months** **Location of consultant:** Philadelphia, Pa area is preferred but job is remote **Hours:** 40/week **Shift:** Day **Education:** Bachelor’s required **; Master’s preferred** **Top Required Skills (in order of importance):** * **Revenue Cycle Epic data model** * **SQL** * **Snowflake** * **Power BI** **Required Experience & Skills:** * 5+ years in analytics or business intelligence * Experience with at least one analytical/programming language (R, Python, SAS, etc) * Strong SQL skills * Knowledge of relational database structures * Project management experience * **Experience working as a data analyst within a healthcare setting** * **Experience with clinical, hospital, and/or financial applications/systems** **Preferred Experience:** * 8+ years in analytics/business intelligence * Experience with data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) * Experience with data integration tools (DBT, Informatica, MS Integration Services) **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead clinical and business stakeholders through requirements gathering, metric development, data retrieval, and validation for large projects * Apply advanced analytical/statistical methods to evaluate data and recommend improvements in processes, outcomes, financial performance, and resource utilization * Build dashboards, reports, and BI solutions to measure processes and outcomes * Learn new information systems and understand data flow through the lifecycle * Advise on data models, testing frameworks, and documentation practices * Present clear, actionable data stories tailored to diverse audiences * Manage assigned projects end‑to‑end, including planning, deadlines, and issue resolution * Identify and implement new data‑driven strategies and processes * Communicate progress, findings, and interpretations while educating business partners * Train and mentor team members Serve as a trusted data advisor within the organization
