Hotel General Manager

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Best Western hotel. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong hospitality experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage hotel operations efficiently while maximizing revenue and profitability. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining brand standards, managing staff, controlling expenses, and driving overall property performance. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services. * Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate hotel employees. * Ensure compliance with Best Western brand standards, quality assurance requirements, and hotel policies. * Maintain high guest satisfaction scores by promptly addressing guest concerns and resolving complaints. * Monitor hotel revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall financial performance. * Manage operating expenses, payroll, inventory, and property budgets to maximize profitability. * Work closely with revenue management to optimize room rates and occupancy. * Ensure the property is clean, well-maintained, and consistently ready for guest arrivals. * Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance. * Monitor guest reviews and implement improvements to maintain a positive online reputation. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations, employment laws, and company policies. * Provide regular operational and financial updates to hotel ownership. * Be available to assist with daily operations and cover staffing needs when necessary.
