**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker/Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence\-based therapies, and case management services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals facing a range of challenges such as developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, trauma, PTSD, autism spectrum disorders, and complex medical conditions. You will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient\-centered care that promotes recovery, resilience, and overall well\-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives through clinical excellence and compassionate support. **Responsibilities** * Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as ICD\-10/ICD\-9 coding systems and DSM criteria. * Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence\-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing. * Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions tailored to clients’ unique needs across various settings including clinics, homes, and community environments. * Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques while ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress or trauma\-related symptoms. * Document all clinical encounters accurately in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. * Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, social services, and families to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients with complex medical or developmental needs such as autism or Alzheimer’s disease. * Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects focused on mental health interventions and patient outcomes. **Skills** * Extensive experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and addiction counseling. * Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change. * Strong background in child \& family counseling, pediatrics, geriatrics, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. * Knowledge of home \& community care practices along with experience working in hospital or clinical settings involving psychiatric patient care. * Familiarity with EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records) and medical documentation standards including CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD\-10/ICD\-9\), and medical terminology. * Ability to perform mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, case management, and crisis management effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds. * Skilled in evidence\-based practices for mental health interventions targeting PTSD care, substance use disorders, Geriatrics care, Alzheimer’s care, special education needs, and psychopharmacology considerations.
