We also offer customized, integrated solutions for protection system design, automation, control, and communication, tailored to our clients' needs. **About the role** We are currently looking for a Junior Transmission Lines Engineer - GridLinkx to join our Brisbane office. The Junior Transmission Line Engineer will deliver high-quality engineering and will be joining as a member of the strongest technical leadership team of Lines Engineering in Asia Pacific. They will be overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission line projects. **Key Responsibilities** * Supporting the end-to-end design of Transmission Lines including modelling, design of structures, and foundations. * Concept and Detailed Design of Transmission Lines using PLS-CADD software * Modelling of structures using PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE * Foundation designs – varying from normal concrete foundations to pile foundations * Site visits and inspections as required * Drafting design reports * Assisting with the preparation of proposals 👤 **What You’ll Bring** * Bachelor Degree in Civil, Structural or Electrical (or equivalent) * Minimum of 1 years of transmission lines experience * Proficiency in PLS software (PLS-CADD, TOWER and POLE) desirable * Familiarity with Australian and international codes and standards relevant to transmission infrastructure (e.g., AS/NZS 7000, ASCE 74, and ASCE 10) * Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills, with a focus on quality and delivery * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Self-motivated and keen to progress career 💼 **Why Join APD?** * A technically strong and collaborative project environment * Long-term career development and progression opportunities * Access to industry-leading tools and technologies * A structured, professional work environment with a focus on safety, integrity, and delivery excellence * Competitive remuneration package and flexible work arrangements where applicable Successful candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and provide a police clearance. **APD is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
