In this remote-first role, you will contribute to mobile development while working with JavaScript and Rust across the broader engineering environment. You will partner with teammates to understand requirements, plan practical solutions, and deliver changes that meet quality and reliability expectations. This position is suited to a developer who enjoys balancing feature work with foundational engineering improvements. You will help untangle Jenkins dependencies, break larger initiatives into manageable steps, stress-test systems, and contribute to a Rust rewrite intended to reduce technical debt. You will have opportunities to influence implementation decisions and grow your technical capabilities through hands-on work and ongoing learning. **Qualifications** Candidates should have professional experience developing iOS applications and a sound understanding of mobile software development practices. Familiarity with JavaScript and Rust is valuable, particularly the ability to work across languages, understand existing code, and contribute to systems that are evolving. Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration tools is also helpful. You should be comfortable investigating dependencies, identifying risks, and translating complex work into clear, achievable tasks. Strong debugging and testing skills are important, including the ability to stress-test systems and communicate findings. Investigate and resolve Jenkins dependencies and related build or integration challenges. Break broad initiatives into manageable milestones, communicate progress and blockers, and contribute to realistic delivery plans. Design and carry out testing, including stress testing, to identify weaknesses and support dependable releases. Participate in the Rust rewrite by helping reduce technical debt and improve the quality of the codebase. Review code, document relevant decisions, share knowledge, and contribute ideas that strengthen engineering workflows and team outcomes. **Benefits** The expected salary range for this position is $53,000 to $79,000, depending on relevant experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
