Part-Time Mobile App QA Engineer (iOS & Android)

**Job Overview:** Tasklark Inc. is a California-based technology startup focused on connecting customers with local home-service professionals through innovative digital solutions. As a Part-Time Mobile App QA Engineer, you'll be our dedicated tester for our customer app, provider app and admin dashboard. You'll test new releases from our development team, write clear bug reports, and verify that fixes actually work before we ship. **Duties:** * Test new builds on iOS and Android, covering both the customer and provider apps * Run end-to-end flows: sign-up, posting jobs, matching, payments, messaging and reviews * Write clear bug reports with steps to reproduce, screenshots and expected vs. actual results * Maintain test cases and run regression tests on every release * Test the app in multiple languages and check for untranslated or inconsistent text * Test payment flows in Stripe test mode, and check that amounts match across the app, admin dashboard and payment records * Test referral rewards and gift card delivery, and confirm that rewards are issued correctly **Qualifications:** * 1+ years of QA or software testing experience, ideally on mobile apps * Experience testing on Android emulators and the iOS Simulator * Experience writing clear, reproducible bug reports * Experience with bug tracking (spreadsheets, Jira or similar) * Proficiency with advanced AI assistants (e.g., Claude Opus 5.5, ChatGPT 6 Sol, Gemini 4 Argon or comparable models) for writing test cases, analyzing logs and drafting bug reports **Preferred Qualifications:** * Proficiency in both English and Chinese is preferred. Knowledge of additional languages, such as Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, is a plus and can help with testing our localized app versions. * Experience at a home-services, home-improvement or housekeeping company or platform * Experience testing marketplace, booking or matching apps (e.g., Thumbtack, Angi, Yelp, TaskRabbit) * Hands-on experience in renovation, repair or home-service work, so you understand how both customers and providers use the app * Experience testing payment flows or location-based features * Experience with API testing (Postman) or test automation (Appium, Playwright) Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule Experience: * Software Testing: 1 year (Required) Location: * California (Required) Work Location: Remote
