This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of civil engineering and groundworks projects while working with an established contractor that values quality, teamwork, and long-term relationships. **About Your New Job** We are seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering, groundworks, and construction project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring that works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, clients, main contractors, and developers, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of multiple civil and groundworks projects across South and West Dublin. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and oversee all aspects of civil engineering and groundworks projects from inception through to completion. * Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved. * Lead and coordinate site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery. * Liaise with main contractors, developers, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. * Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental requirements, quality standards, and company procedures. * Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and implement measures to minimise financial risks and prevent overruns. * Oversee groundworks operations, including site preparation, drainage, utilities, foundations, roads, and associated civil engineering works, as applicable to each project. * Identify potential project risks, resolve site-related challenges, and implement effective solutions to maintain progress. * Manage procurement, subcontractor appointments, material orders, and resource allocation. * Review construction drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and project reports to ensure works are completed in accordance with project requirements. * Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. * Provide regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting programme updates, costs, risks, and key project milestones. **What Skills You Need** * Proven experience as a Project Manager within a civil engineering, groundworks, or construction environment. * Strong experience managing civil and groundworks projects from planning through to completion. * Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, project programming, cost control, and resource management. * Experience working with main contractors, developers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams. * Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. * A solid understanding of health and safety legislation, quality assurance, and site management best practices. * Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. * Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. * Full driving licence and the ability to travel to project sites across South and West Dublin. **What's on Offer** * Competitive salary of **€75,000–€100,000** , depending on experience. * Attractive benefits package. * Opportunity to join an established civil and groundworks contractor with over 20 years of industry experience. * A strong pipeline of projects across South and West Dublin. * The opportunity to work with leading main contractors and developers. * A stable, collaborative working environment with opportunities for career progression. **What's Next** If you are an experienced Civils Project Manager looking for your next opportunity with a well-established civil and groundworks contractor, we would love to hear from you.
