Clinical Intake Coordinator (LMSW/LAC)

**Haven Little Rock** is currently seeking a **Clinical Intake Coordinator** to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, clinical insight, and the ability to support prospective clients and families through the admissions and intake process. Position Summary The **Clinical Intake Coordinator** serves as a key point of contact for prospective clients, referral sources, and family members during the admissions process. This individual will conduct clinical screenings, gather psychosocial information, coordinate admissions, and ensure a smooth transition into treatment services. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and experienced in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment settings. **Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm** Responsibilities * Conduct initial clinical intake assessments and screenings for prospective clients * Gather and document psychosocial, substance use, and mental health history * Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to determine appropriate level of care * Coordinate admissions and communicate with clients, families, and referral sources throughout the intake process * Verify clinical appropriateness for admission in accordance with program criteria * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system * Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and families during emotionally sensitive situations * Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable regulations * Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary * Participate in team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support continuity of care Qualifications * Master’s Degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Addiction Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field * LAC or LMSW preferred * Prior experience in a behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or mental health setting preferred * Strong understanding of substance use disorders and behavioral health treatment services * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred * Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries If you are passionate about helping individuals begin their recovery journey and thrive in a clinically focused environment, we encourage you to apply.
