Commercial Painting Project Manager – Bilingual **Silva’s Painting – Orlando, FL** **$40.00 per hour + Performance-Based Bonus** **Full-Time** Silva’s Painting is seeking an experienced **Commercial Painting Project Manager** to join our team in Orlando. **PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING:** This is a **field-oriented commercial painting position**, not a general construction project management position. We are looking for someone who **came up through the painting field and developed into a leader**—someone who understands the work because they have actually done it. Candidates must: * Have hands-on **commercial painting field experience** * Speak **English and Spanish** * Have experience **operating a boom lift** * Have experience supervising painting crews and/or managing commercial painting projects * Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record * Be willing to travel to project locations * Be able to successfully complete a **background check and drug screening** If you do not have commercial painting field experience, this position is not the right fit. Responsibilities The Project Manager will take ownership of multiple commercial painting projects from project handoff through completion. Responsibilities include: * Schedule and coordinate projects with team leaders and field crews * Plan manpower, equipment, materials, and project schedules * Visit active jobsites regularly to monitor production, quality, safety, and progress * Communicate with field employees in both English and Spanish * Coordinate boom lifts and other equipment required for projects * Review scopes of work, plans, specifications, estimates, and project requirements * Monitor labor hours, material usage, production, budgets, and project profitability * Ensure team leaders understand the project's scope, schedule, and customer expectations * Coordinate paint orders and approved color samples * Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, facility representatives, employees, and subcontractors * Identify problems early and resolve them before they affect schedule, quality, or profitability * Identify and document additional work and potential change orders * Coordinate subcontractors when required * Conduct final walkthroughs and manage punch-list completion * Ensure projects are properly completed and closed out * Make sure field teams have the manpower, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete their projects successfully What We're Looking For We are looking for a **painter who became a leader**. The right candidate should be comfortable walking onto a commercial painting project, speaking with the crew in Spanish, evaluating production, understanding the equipment being used, identifying problems, and communicating professionally with the customer or general contractor. This position requires someone who is willing to be **in the field**, not someone who wants to manage projects primarily from an office. Travel This position is based in **Orlando, Florida**, but travel to project locations is required. Our current and upcoming work includes projects in: * Central Florida * Tampa area * Volusia County * West Palm Beach/South Florida * Other locations throughout Florida * Potential projects in the **U.S. Virgin Islands** Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on the project.
