Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor

**Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. As a vital part of our hotel operations, you will ensure that guest rooms and common areas are kept clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience. **Responsibilities** * Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies. * Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. * Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly. * Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. * Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens. * Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. * Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional items or services. * Ensure that all rooms are cleaned daily and are accurately entered into the computer system. * Work with other departments to ensure excellent communication. * Create a weekly schedule for department. * Oversee and assign deep cleaning and project work. * Complete other reasonable requests and tasks as assigned by leadership team. **Skills** * Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred. * Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods. * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. * Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. * A background in hospitality is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of guest service excellence. * This position does require the ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day, climb stairs and step ladders, bend, kneel, squat, lift up to 40 pounds, push, pull, complete repetitive motion tasks.
