A leading financial services client is building a brand new MDM system. It will unify data and set the foundation for future AI\-driven initiatives. **What you'll do** * Design, build and scale backend services and APIs in Python * Work alongside dedicated UI developers on React dashboards, maintenance interfaces and visualisation tools * Model complex ownership hierarchies in graph databases (Neo4j or similar) * Integrate AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda) and BigQuery on GCP * Collaborate with local and international teammates in an agile environment **What you'll bring** * Financial services background (must have!), with a solid grasp of capital market terms (equities, derivatives, asset management) and master data concepts * Strong commercial Python backend experience * Working knowledge of React for frontend support * Graph database experience (highly desirable) * Familiarity with AWS and cloud data warehousing * Clear communicator who's happy in the office 3 days a week **Why it's worth a look** Greenfield build, real architectural influence, and a project with a genuine AI roadmap behind it. **If this role sounds like it would be a good fit for you, please drop me an email with your CV at brooke@nuagetg.io**
