🔶 Motorsport Race \& Data Engineer \- Circuit \& Rally — Ireland — Freelance / Contract Talent Pool Parker Stewart Motorsport is building our engineering network ahead of the 2027 season — race engineers and data engineers across both circuit and rally disciplines. The role: You're the link between what the car is doing and what the driver and team decide to do about it — whether that's a circuit setup call between sessions or a stage\-by\-stage read on a rally car's health. What you'll actually be doing (on the events we place people into): 📊 Reading telemetry and translating it into setup or strategy decisions 📊 Working directly with the driver on feedback and car balance 📊 Monitoring car health and performance trends across a race weekend or rally 📊 Briefing the team/Chief Mechanic on what needs attention before the next session or stage What we need: ✅ Race or data engineering experience in circuit racing, rallying, or both ✅ Comfortable working from live data under real time pressure ✅ Able to travel to events across Ireland (and further afield for the right opportunity) Nice to have: ⭐ Experience with a specific data system (e.g. MoTeC, Pi/McLaren Applied, Cosworth) ⭐ A background in a specific category or championship level ⭐ Systems engineering (ECU, power distribution) alongside race/data engineering The reality of the role: This is a genuinely scarce skillset in motorsport right now — good engineers are in short supply industry\-wide, which is exactly why we're building this pool ahead of time rather than scrambling when a team calls looking for one. 📍 Ireland (travel to circuits/events required).
