Construction Project Manager

We are presently recruiting for a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to manage road maintenance contracts with Kerry and Cork County Councils. You will come with a background in Civil Engineering, road servicing or quantity surveying and will be required to manage all aspects of day to day operations, costs, crews and materials for each project. A full, clean driving licence along with the ability to drive to various locations is mandatory in County Cork and Kerry. **Responsibilities:** * Oversee day\-to\-day site operations * Manage site resources (labor, materials, equipment) * Coordinate sub\-contractors and suppliers * Ensure work aligns with project plans, specs, and schedules * Monitor progress and update senior management * Enforce health and safety protocols * Conduct site inspections and address safety concerns * Ensure quality standards are met and address issues * Maximize productivity, minimize waste, and track costs * Liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders * Lead site meetings and collaborate on budgets and cost control **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field * 5\+ years of construction management experience, with road project focus * Strong Proficiency in project management tools * Full driving licence is essential A company vehicle, pension, laptop, phone and salary based on experience and in the region of €60 – €65,000 is offered.
