**Job Title:** Environmental Containment - Crew Leader **Location:** Harrison County, WV – Project locations throughout WV **Industry:** Gas & Oil Field Operations / Environmental Containment **Work Environment:** Field-based; physical labor and leadership responsibilities **Pay Range:** $18–$21/Hour **Experience Level:** 1–2 Years Industry Experience Required **Reporting Structure:** Reports to Project Manager and Site Supervisor **The Opportunity** You've mastered the work — now it's time to lead it. You're the link between the crew in the field and the management above, and your ability to communicate, hold standards, and drive results is what keeps jobs on track. **Leadership isn't just a title at Octane — it's how you build your career.** **Core Responsibilities** * Hold a valid driver's license and qualify as an Octane Approved Driver * Ensure all crew members adhere to company policies and safety regulations * Facilitate communication between crew members and management * Monitor crew performance and ensure work meets Octane Quality Standards * Complete daily reporting — Work Orders, JSA, and Critical Activity Plans * Maintain PEC, OSHA 10, and all customer-specific safety certifications **What We're Looking For** * 1–2 years of industry experience required to be considered * Valid driver's license with Octane Approved Driver qualification * Strong communicator who can manage up and down the chain * Hold a crew accountable while maintaining a positive team environment * Detail-oriented — accurate, consistent daily reporting is non-negotiable **What Sets You Apart** * Natural leader who earns respect through work ethic, not just title * Experience managing people and keeping jobs moving under pressure * Identify problems on-site and solve them before they escalate * Commitment to quality that the whole crew follows **Compensation** $18–$21/hour based on experience and demonstrated leadership.
