BRHHC is looking for a Physical Therapist to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. You will be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best patient care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high-quality in-home care. **Responsibilities** * Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury, disease or surgery in a home care environment * Establish treatment plans and treat patients using a variety of methods including exercise, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients’ pain and increase mobility * Document and report on patients’ progress as well as work cooperatively with physicians, case managers and adjustors * Act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, etc.) * Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families **Skills** * Excellent knowledge of physical therapy methods and procedures * In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times * A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Responsible and compassionate * Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills * Display patience with excellent problem-solving skills * Physical Therapy Certification is required * Requires Virginia state license to practice PT Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Benefits: * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
