The successful candidate will develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and promote a safety-first culture across all operational activities. ## Key Responsibilities ### 1. Safety Program Development and Implementation - Implement industry best practices and comply with local and international safety standards (e.g., ISO45001:2018). - Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on-site to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols. ### 2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control - Develop, review, and update Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) specific to construction, SMPP installation, rigging, and heavy lifting activities. - Develop and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks. - Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety gear. ### 3. Training & Competency Development - Conduct safety inductions and specialized training sessions for riggers, slingers, crane operators, and other personnel involved in heavy lifting and confined space operations. - Verify that all personnel are certified and competent in their respective roles, including rigging, slinging, and working at heights. - Promote a safety culture through ongoing awareness campaigns and toolbox talks. ### 4. Incident Investigation & Reporting - Lead investigations of safety incidents, near misses, and accidents. - Prepare detailed reports, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Track safety performance metrics and prepare safety reports for management review. ### 5. Compliance & Documentation - Ensure compliance with all relevant safety legislation, standards, and client requirements. - Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, training logs, and incident reports. - Facilitate internal and external safety audits and inspections. ### 6.
