We specialize in delivering high-impact civil engineering, commercial building, and structural infrastructure projects across the region. To lead our next phase of growth and operational excellence, we are seeking a dynamic, result-driven, and visionary General Manager to oversee our operations. **The Role** Reporting to the Executive Committee / Board of Directors, the General Manager will hold full P&L and operational accountability for InfraDevcor. This position requires an experienced executive who can drive business growth, champion operational and safety standards, manage high-stakes project execution, and foster relationships with key stakeholders across the public and private sectors. **Key Responsibilities** Strategic Growth & Leadership: Formulate and execute the company’s growth strategy, drive revenue generation, and secure high-value commercial and public-sector infrastructure contracts. Operational Excellence: Oversee all active construction sites to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining superior quality standards. Financial Management: Direct P&L operations, manage cash flow, approve major project budgets, and maintain strict commercial cost controls. Stakeholder & Client Relations: Serve as the primary executive liaison to clients, government bodies, joint-venture partners, and regulatory authorities. People & Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing technical and project management teams, establishing a strong culture of accountability and safety. HSEQ & Governance: Ensure absolute compliance with FIDIC contract standards, statutory building codes, and safety/environmental regulations (ISO standards). **Qualifications & Requirements** Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s in Project Management is highly desirable. Professional Registration: Must be registered with a recognized professional body (e.g., ZIE, ECZ, or equivalent). Experience: 10-15+ years of progressive management experience in large-scale civil engineering or construction, with at least 5 years in a senior executive or General Manager leadership role. **Key Skills:** o In-depth mastery of commercial contract administration (FIDIC, GCC, JCT) and claims management. o Strong financial acumen with proven experience managing full site and company budgets/P&Ls. o Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities. **TO APPLY** Qualified and interested candidates are invited to submit their comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV), copies of relevant qualifications, and a cover letter detailing their suitability for the role.
