**DUE: 05 NOV 2026** **URBAN PLANNING DEPARTMENT** Applications are Invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the below-mentioned vacant positions, which have fallen vacant in the Urban Planning Department. **GIS TECHNICIANS X 3** The incumbents will be reporting to the GIS Officer. **Qualifications/Requirements** Higher National Diploma in Geographic Information Systems. 3 years of experience working with GIS Must be 25 years old and above **Key Duties and Responsibilities** Collecting data using GPS devices, aerial photography, and other tools to create maps or other graphic representations of data Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to store, analyse, and manage data that has been gathered from field surveys or other sources Creating maps and other graphics using Geographic Information System (GIS) software to display data in visual formats for a variety of purposes, such as communicating environmental hazards or land use planning Designing custom maps and other graphics for presentations, publications, reports, and other purposes Advising managers on the best use of GIS technology to support organizational goals Installing, repairing, and maintaining computers and software used for GIS applications Researching new GIS technology to determine its potential utility for specific applications within an organization Chitungwiza Municipality is an equal opportunity employer and hence encourages everyone to apply. **TO APPLY** Interested and suitably qualified candidates should submit their applications, accompanied by six (6) certified copies of academic and professional certificates, a valid Police Clearance Certificate, and a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), addressed to J.
