The position is offered on a **fixed-term contract** and requires the successful candidate to work on-site in Harare. ## Finance Intern - Harare - **Organisation:** Saint-Gobain - **Position:** Finance Intern - **Reference Number:** ZAF00688 - **Location:** Harare, Zimbabwe - **Department:** Finance - **Contract Type:** Fixed-term Contract - **Work Arrangement:** On-site - **Application Method:** Online ## Purpose of the Position **Protect company assets through accurate, timely, and compliant financial record-keeping.** ## Key Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: - Maintenance of the local payables ledger by ensuring that supplier invoices and credit notes are captured timeously and correctly. - Making sure that local suppliers are paid on time or as per the agreed terms while ensuring that the purchase-to-pay cycle (PTP) has been complied with before payment is made. - Preparing local supplier reconciliations monthly as per planned schedule. - Ensuring that the goods receipt-invoice receipt (GRNI) GL accounts do not have long outstanding line items and are cleared timeously.
