The above-mentioned positions have risen within TIMB, and applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacancies. The successful candidates will be based at TIMB Head Office. ## The Successful Candidates Will Be Trained in the Following - Tobacco leaf appraisal skills (classification). - Decisively dealing with all cases of improper and suspicious tobacco presentation and deliveries in consultation with Arbitrators on the sale. - Positively identifying any storage pests and symptoms of such infestation on all bales of tobacco that are offered for sale as well as during any such inspections at tobacco factories, warehouses, tobacco re-handling facilities and during farm inspections. - Collection and collation of data on the sale and during any inspections or investigations for purposes of producing reports for overall tobacco sales statistics and future planning. - Agricultural extension and communication. - Agricultural Business Development and Market Information. - Any other duties as guided by the team leaders. ## Qualifications and Experience - Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Crop Science or related equivalent from a recognised institution. - Must be 30 years and below. ## Other Requirements / Competences - Excellent report writing skills. - High level of maturity and responsibility. - Trustworthy. - Detail oriented. - A highly organised, task-oriented, and analytical character. - Good interpersonal communication skills. - Teamwork and cooperation. ## How to Apply Submit your CV, certified copies of qualifications and National Identification (ID) as a single PDF document addressed to **hr@timb.co.zw** not later than **4 November 2026**, clearly indicating in block letters the position in the subject line, that is, **“AGRICULTURAL TRAINEE”**.
